With the unicorns back in action for round one this week it is fitting that we celebrate the playing careers of two great Melbourne High players.
Having combined for over 420 games, Luke Campbell and Matthew White have left a legacy at the club and we join them to show thanks for their service. Their commitment and dedication towards the club will serve as a timely reminder for all those to follow in their footsteps.
The pair will be celebrated in style at the unicorn club this coming Wednesday the 5th of April.
Preseason Wraps up.
Senior coach Matthew Nicholas has lead a fantastic preseason program that saw more players down than ever before. With the preseason work behind them the high has enjoyed three competitive hit-outs in the build up to round one.
With a fresh crop of talent rising to the surface and improvement across the board the club is in a good space ahead of their round one clash; a triple header against Old Paradians.
Once again this season will feature four teams take the field in MHSOBFC colours with a buzz of excitement around the club. Bernard Pretty remains at the helm of a intensely competitive twos side looking to support the senior team.
Michael Mitchell leads the U19s once again after an immensely successful season 2016. The U19 team has had strong numbers down to every preseason session and competition for places will be high.
Rob Coxon and an array of helpers will ensure the clubbies continue to taste success. Once again the clubbies are expected to deliver a hard hitting season and be intensely competitive. The Club XVIII will visit South Mornington as they look to collect the first points of the season.
