Reserves Round 12 2021

Rd 12 saw us go down the road to Albert Park to take on Power House. No matter where they are on the ladder, the house always provide a tough physical contest and this game was no different.

Given the tough opposition and challenging conditions, we knew we’d have to stick to our game plan all day to get the desired outcome. All day the house cracked in hard to provide a really good contest, and credit to our boys, for most of the day we we’re able to execute and use the outer wing to get the footy on the attacking side and get clear entries into the forward line.

Our mid season recruit the Hammer was the beneficiary of this. He was unstoppable up forward bagging 5 goals in a dominant best on ground display. The Hyphen also got busy with 3 snags, applying great forward pressure all day. Returning back through the magoos, Will Suhr was dominant all day in the ruck giving our mid fielders first use. We now set ourselves up well for a big second half of the year once we return from the covid break, go Corns!
