Following back-to-back losses against St Kevin’s and Old McKinnon/Glen Eira, the U20s were looking to end their season on a high against St Bedes/Mentone at home in front of a crowd of senior, reserves and thirds players. With the seniors finishing their season the previous week, the U20s had a large influx of returning players for the final game.

Following a tough loss against St Kevin’s, the U20s looked to bounce back against rivals Old McKinnon/Glen Eira at MHS. The U20s continued to dominate senior selection with an outstanding eight team members selected, providing opportunities for other players to step up and shine.

MHSOB ventured out to T H King Oval on a damp Saturday morning to face off against one their rivals, St Kevin’s. The day started with a buzz and a sense of anticipation for yet another intense showdown. The team was geared up and prepared to take on the challenge. It's noteworthy that this year a remarkable seven players made their debut in the Seniors, showcasing the impressive growth within the squad.

Coming off a devastating loss to Old Xaverians, the MHSOB U/20’s were motivated to perform strongly and keep their finals hopes alive against third-placed Oakleigh AFC at W.A. Scammell Reserve.

With the memory of an important victory against St Bernard’s last weekend, the U20s were faced with their toughest task of the season: win against Old Xaverians at the ‘Castle on the Hill’ to put a finals birth within serious reach.

After coming off an underwhelming performance against Therry Penola in the previous round, the U/20s were determined to return to form against the winless St Bernards side at their home ground ‘The Snake Pit’.

Beginning the 2023 campaign at home against Brunswick, MHSOB were led by our newly appointed co-captains, Baz (Bailey Gallop) and Sticks (Adam Stikoltzik).
